Exam Contents of CCNA Certification
CCNA certification is a primary certification in Cisco after-sales engineer certification system. Through learning the contents of CCNA certification , you can prove that you have mastered the basic knowledge of network, and can preliminarily install, configure and operate Cisco routers, switches and simple LAN and WAN. Passing CCNA certification proves that you understand the basic technology and relevant knowledge of networking for the small office / home office (SOHO) market. CCNA certified professionals can install, configure and run LAN, WAN and dial-up access services in small networks (100 or less nodes). The protocols they can use include (but are not limited to) IP, IGRP, OSPF, EIGRP, IPX, Serial, Apple, Talk, Frame Relay, IP RIP, VLAN RIP, Ethernet, and Access Lists.
The main contents of CCNA certification include OSI, the theoretical basis of network protocol; LAN and WAN solutions; experimental scheme and configuration. The contents involved are all necessary knowledge in the current small and medium-sized network solutions.
CCNA certification mainly covers three parts
- LAN part
This part is about basic knowledge of network interconnection and network reference model, introduction to Cisco routers and switches, principle and configuration of static and dynamic routing protocols (including RIP, EIGRP, OSPF), implementation of VLAN and inter-VLAN routing, use of CDP, VTP and STP protocols, wireless network interconnection and IPv6, etc.
- WAN part
This part is about WAN access technology, the use of PPP and Frame Relay, DHCP and NAT, etc.
- Network security part
This part is about the introduction of network security, the use of access control list and the realization of secure remote office, etc.
Skills Taught in CCNA Certification Training
Students will learn how to install, configure and operate simple routing LAN and routing WAN, and define the contents of “simple” networks, such as IP, IGRP, IPX, Serial, Apple, Talk, Frame Relay, IP RIP, IPX RIP, VLAN, Ethernet and Access Table in CCNA certification training. CCNA certified personnel can provide solutions based on training and practical experience
1. Install and / or configure a network;
2. Filter with access directory;
3. Bandwidth on Demand (BOD) and Demand Dial-up Routing (DDR) are Internet access solutions that reduce bandwidth and WAN costs, and optimize the WAN.
4. Provide remote access through integrated dial-up connections and traditional remote LAN to LAN access, as well as the highest level of performance required to support new applications such as Internet e-commerce and multimedia.
Prerequisites for Applying for CCNA Certification
Candidates do not need to hold any certificates to sign up for CCNA certification exam. At the same time, there are no rigid regulations on the candidates’ age, educational background and foreign language level. But they should have two valid certificates, such as ID card, credit card, driver’s license, student’s card, passport, etc. After they pass the exam, they will get the CCNA certificate.
